About the role
We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager with a proven leadership track record and a solid background in customer services and project delivery skills to join our dynamic team in Bangkok, Thailand. He/ she would have worked in the insurance or finance firm or telecommunication industry and preferably having exposure in the Tech scene or start up or software development related environment. Reporting to the Country Manager in Thailand, this role will work with the team to strengthen operations activities with current clients/partners as well as build up new operation activities for upcoming projects of Igloo locally
Job Responsibilities• Lead, plan and execute operational activities based on companys products/ development requirements.• Demonstrate a hands-on, customer-centric attitude with a focus on problem-solving.• Work closely with the commercial team to understand and develop local operation solutions.• Collaborate with the product and technology team for automation or improvement of operation processes.• Establish and continuously review operating procedures for enhanced efficiency and productivity.• Develop and own Igloos claim management and customer service operations.• Expand Authorized Service Partner for Mobile Phone Repair Shop.• Build and manage a team, as per business requirements, to help you achieve the desired outcome.• Comfortable with being hands-on with a customer centric attitude and problem solving oriented.• Act as the contact point between the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), Igloo Team members, and third parties to fulfill OIC requirements.


Job Requirements:• Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Planning or Supply Chain Management.• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, startup/ insurance experience is a plus.• Strong problem solving and excellent communications skills to manage multiple stakeholders.• Self-motivated and proactive.• Preferably have experience or exposure to project managing API integrations and understanding its limitations, but not must.• Fluency in Thai and English (both spoken and written), due to the work collaborations with the regional team.
